Senior Data Team Lead – Clinical Data Management

About the role

The Senior Data Team Lead will independently manage end‑to‑end delivery of data management services for large, multi‑service clinical studies, ensuring high‑quality deliverables on time and within budget. This role provides expert guidance to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team and serves as the primary liaison with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers on data management deliverables.
• Lead multiple large, potentially global, studies or programs, providing senior support to other Data Team Leads.
• Manage project planning, execution, financials, and milestone tracking.
• Negotiate timelines, budgets, and resources with customers.
• Coordinate with Data Operations teams to ensure milestones and quality standards are met.
• Escalate and resolve complex data issues, overseeing resource allocation.
• Create, review, and sign‑off data management plans (DMP) and ensure compliance with GCP, regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and contracts.
• Implement proactive quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing large, global clinical data projects.
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to drive process improvements and manage cross‑functional teams.
