Senior Retail Technology Consultant

About the role

The Senior Retail Technology Consultant supports adidas retail operations by planning, installing, and configuring software solutions, providing expert advisory, and ensuring systems meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on technology solutions, collaborating with other experts to ensure appropriate recommendations.
• Conduct business analysis to identify operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, and propose effective solutions.
• Define, manage, and prioritize requirements for medium‑size initiatives, ensuring traceability and handling change requests.
• Assist in software and equipment configuration, perform system testing, document faults, implement resolutions and retest.
• Deliver application support by identifying and resolving issues, collecting performance statistics, and performing maintenance tasks.
• Participate in recruiting processes and resource allocation when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technology consultant in a retail environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and other specialists.
• Familiarity with both predictive (plan‑driven) and adaptive (agile) project approaches.
• Senior‑level expertise, capable of influencing decisions and guiding teams.
