Senior SAP Basis Engineer

About the role

Amrize IT is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Engineer to join its SAP Applications Team. You will be the technical bridge between SAP technology and business operations, ensuring the reliability, performance, and stability of multiple SAP platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP environments to guarantee optimal performance and availability.
• Manage SAP platform components such as ERP, BW, Solution Manager, CRM, Fiori, and PI/PO.
• Monitor and maintain databases, operating systems, and SAP infrastructure supporting critical business processes.
• Coordinate technical activities across SAP platforms, infrastructure teams, external providers, and business stakeholders.
• Support installations, upgrades, migrations, system refreshes, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate on projects involving SAP cloud solutions, integrations, and platform improvements.
• Handle performance monitoring, incident resolution, and change management following ITSM processes.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and support audit requirements related to SAP operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture across ERP, BW, Solution Manager, CRM, Fiori, and PI/PO.
• Experience with SAP HANA and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with AIX and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud technologies (BTP, Cloud Connector, Integration Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of SAP RICEFW objects and technical integration concepts.
• Proactive, independent, solution‑oriented mindset with English level B2+.
