Senior SecOps Automation Engineer (Consumer FinTech)

About the role

We are looking for a senior SecOps Automation Engineer to build a brand‑new incident response automation function for a remote‑first consumer personal finance platform. The role combines security operations expertise with strong automation and integration skills to transform manual processes into an agile, AI‑enhanced ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and scale an incident response automation program from scratch, working with high autonomy.
• Modernize manual security workflows into automated, low‑code/no‑code SOAR playbooks.
• Design, develop and tune high‑fidelity SIEM detections that trigger automated containment pipelines.
• Integrate disparate security tools via APIs, leveraging Python and AI/LLM technologies to accelerate workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define DLP controls, incident escalation paths and on‑call support procedures.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in SecOps, security automation or SOAR.
• Proven track record of building and maturing an incident response automation program from the ground up.
• Hands‑on expertise designing SOAR workflows; experience with Torq, Tines or similar platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong background in SIEM detection engineering and API‑based tool integration.
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly scaling, ambiguous environment.
