Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable software solutions that power financial operations, payment workflows and compliance systems. The role involves working on both backend services and full‑stack applications in a remote‑first, highly collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build and support full‑stack applications with React and Next.js.
• Participate in architecture decisions, data modeling and production‑grade deployments.
• Ensure security, reliability and performance of high‑volume transaction and financial workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, CI/CD processes and deployment strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and proactively improve system architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fluent English (C1 level) with strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Experience in fintech, payments or other regulated financial industries is a plus.
