Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join its global team. In this position you will bridge development and operations, ensuring that critical services are reliable, scalable, and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Python/Bash and IaC tools.
• Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications on Linux.
• Create and enhance monitoring solutions to guarantee high availability.
• Develop automated workflows for incident response, capacity planning and system recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and scalability.
• Participate in on‑call rotations providing L4 support, including occasional weekend coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar SRE or DevOps role.
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Python (or Bash) focused on automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes orchestration and container technologies.
• Advanced written and verbal English communication.
