Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager

About the role

The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager will lead the purchasing function, ensuring timely supply of goods and services while driving cost efficiencies and vendor performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase and negotiate goods, materials, or services in line with specifications, cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure on‑time supply of required goods and communicate any supply risks.
• Research and evaluate cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency and support continuous improvement.
• Negotiate contracts, improve pricing and terms, and apply best‑practice procurement tools.
• Assess and evaluate vendors, conduct performance reviews, and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain a professional, consistent approach to all vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures during negotiations and contract awards.
• Explore alternate sources to achieve better commercial terms, quality, and service.
• Analyze commercial proposals and quotations from prospective vendors.
• Leverage advanced sourcing methods such as reverse auctions, RFx processes, and competitive bidding.
• Prepare purchase orders aligned with final negotiations and organizational requirements.
• Manage the full Contract Lifecycle Management process, including drafting, negotiation, renewals, risk identification, and compliance monitoring.
• Research and evaluate existing and new vendors, and resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
• Collaborate and negotiate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs.
