Technical Support Engineer (English)

About the role

InterScripts is seeking a motivated Technical Support Engineer to provide English‑language assistance to US‑based customers. The role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals with a background in computer science or IT who enjoy solving technical problems in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems to US customers.
• Troubleshoot basic to intermediate issues related to software, operating systems, and applications.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and follow‑up actions clearly in the ticketing platform.
• Escalate complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
• Adhere to support processes, SLAs, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal technical and customer‑success teams.
• Continuously learn new tools, systems, and technologies used by the company.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in technical support, help desk, or a similar role.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with strong written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to work US Eastern Time hours and on‑site at the El Poblado office in Colombia.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (preferred).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk.
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge.
• Exposure to cloud platforms or SaaS products.
