Test Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Test Engineer to ensure the quality of our applications. The role starts with a strong focus on manual testing and gradually expands automation coverage. This independent‑contract position offers high autonomy and the chance to work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute detailed manual test cases for UI and API layers, covering roughly 75% of testing effort.
• Design, develop, and maintain Selenium‑based automated test scripts (≈25% of effort).
• Contribute to scalable automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Perform regression, cross‑browser, and data‑validation testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using QA tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve QA processes and support reliable releases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on test automation experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
