Global Supply Manager – Logistics (LATAM Markets)

About the role

Tesla is looking for a highly motivated Global Supply Manager to lead logistics procurement across its growing LATAM markets, starting with Chile and Colombia. You will be responsible for launching new markets, managing vendor relationships, and securing logistics services for finished goods, spare parts, customs, and service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring commercial terms are documented and agreements such as NDAs, SOWs, and Master Purchase Agreements are in place.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for vehicle transport, warehousing, customs, and service parts logistics.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with carriers, 3PLs, and other logistics providers to achieve cost‑optimization and risk mitigation.
• Maintain and consolidate global transportation contracts, driving continuous cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance, resolve disputes, and establish key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Finance, Energy Distribution, Logistics Operations, Trade, and Engineering teams to define specifications and deliver sourcing recommendations.
• Monitor industry trends to foster sustainable supplier relationships and competitive negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5‑10+ years of experience in vendor or carrier management within logistics and procurement, preferably in an OEM or production environment.
• Proven track record of delivering projects in fast‑paced, high‑growth settings.
