Identity Fraud Analyst

About the role

The Identity Fraud Analyst will safeguard the integrity of our workforce by reviewing and validating identity verification transactions. Using Socure Predictive DocV+ and other biometric tools, you will detect fraudulent or synthetic identities and support secure, compliant onboarding of consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Review and investigate flagged identity verification cases generated by Socure DocV+.
• Analyze identity documents such as driver’s licenses, passports, and national ID cards for authenticity.
• Cross‑reference personal information and biometric data (selfies) to confirm identities.
• Research and identify potential fraud, impersonation, or synthetic‑identity risks.
• Document findings and escalate suspicious cases to internal teams.
• Collaborate with onboarding and compliance teams to improve fraud‑detection workflows.
• Stay up‑to‑date on global identity‑fraud trends and document standards.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in fraud detection, risk analysis, or identity verification.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of global identity documents and document forensics.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, government ID programs, or cybersecurity is preferred.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive data discreetly.
