Accounting Manager

About the role

Lead the accounting close, reconciliation governance, and financial control framework for the Atlas loan‑sale portfolio, ensuring flawless month‑end delivery by Working Day 3 and audit‑ready operations as Addi transitions to a fully regulated banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure 100% SLA compliance for month‑end close by managing Atlas accounting deliverables such as interest accruals, cancellations, repurchases, fees, impairments, claims and settlement tie‑outs.
• Establish a robust internal‑control and documentation framework to achieve 0% undetected silent breaks and 100% audit readiness.
• Define and enforce single‑source‑of‑truth methodologies for servicing fees and portfolio performance to eliminate reporting discrepancies.
• Drive automation roadmap to cut manual reconciliation effort by 40% in partnership with Engineering, Data Platform and FinSyst teams.
• Implement daily/weekly exception review cadence to resolve cross‑functional issues within 48 hours.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in technical accounting and credit/structured finance, with deep knowledge of IFRS 9 and loan‑sale mechanics.
• Strong track record in loan/receivable accounting, settlement mechanics and portfolio separation under complex financing structures.
• Experience driving rigorous financial controls, audit governance and documentation standards.
• Leadership in cross‑functional execution and stakeholder management with capital markets, engineering and data teams.

Required skills

• IFRS 9 (derecognition and loan‑sale) knowledge
• Advanced Excel modeling
• SQL literacy
• Experience with modern ERP/reconciliation tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, FinSyst engines)
