About the role

As a Back-End Engineer focusing on AI for the Growth team, you will build, run, and continuously improve the AI‑powered systems that power Deel’s global go‑to‑market engine. This hands‑on role involves product planning from discovery to deployment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust features and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high‑impact technical and product problems.
• Design, code, and deliver high‑quality, scalable applications using Node.js.
• Ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and scalable under real‑world conditions.
• Lead execution through others, not just individual contribution.
• Partner with go‑to‑market teams to align technical work with business outcomes.
• Run, monitor, and iterate on live workflows.
