About the role
We are looking for a high‑performing Business Development Manager to drive B2B growth in Colombia. The successful candidate will identify, develop and scale new corporate opportunities, build strategic partnerships and manage a pipeline of mid‑to high‑value deals.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B opportunities across sectors such as enterprises, hospitality, airlines, banks, real estate and incentive programs.
- Build, prioritize and manage a qualified sales pipeline aligned with annual revenue targets.
- Own the full sales cycle – prospecting, solution design, proposal creation, negotiation, closing and post‑sale follow‑up.
- Craft customized commercial proposals, product bundles and pricing structures to meet client needs and profitability goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, lead contract negotiations and coordinate with marketing, operations, finance and supply‑chain teams for successful delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing benchmarks to uncover white‑space opportunities and provide strategic insights.
- Track sales performance and pipeline health using CRM and internal reporting tools, preparing forecasts and business reviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field.
- 3–7 years of B2B sales or business development experience with a proven record of closing mid‑ to high‑value deals.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and work autonomously.
- Fluent in Spanish and professional English; Portuguese is a plus.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM tools.
