Claims Advocate Specialist

About the role

Marsh is looking for an experienced Claims Advocate Specialist to join its Claims Advocacy team in Bogota. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on strategic oversight of complex insurance claims.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic oversight of complex claims portfolios, ensuring accurate assessments and timely resolutions.
• Act as the escalation point and senior technical resource for complex losses, driving minimal‑direction progress.
• Guide claim strategy across property, casualty, specialty and complex insurance programs.
• Identify automation opportunities and streamline repetitive tasks using technology.
• Maintain regulatory, compliance and documentation standards, ensuring audit readiness.
• Mentor and upskill junior advocacy team members.

Required profile

• 6 to 8 years of strong experience in the General Insurance domain covering the full claims lifecycle.
• Graduate or master’s degree in commerce, Business Administration or a related insurance program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong email writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Comfortable using modern data‑management tools.
