Financial Analyst I - Pricing & Postage Reconciliation

About the role

The Financial and Pricing Analyst I supports financial analysis, pricing administration, reporting, reconciliation and process improvement to drive operational efficiency and profitable business outcomes. The role works closely with Operations, Sales, Account Management, Finance, Accounting and Technology teams to analyse data, support pricing decisions, maintain reporting and help with financial and operational initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Pricing and profitability analysis: develop and maintain pricing models for products, services and customer solutions; support pricing analysis for proposals, contract renewals and pricing updates; conduct basic customer, product and service profitability analysis; gather and validate cost data; monitor pricing performance and identify ways to improve profitability.
• Postage reconciliation and financial support: reconcile postage transactions between USPS, customer accounts, internal systems and billing records; track, validate and report postage expenses; support customer reimbursement and postage recovery reconciliations; research and resolve transaction discrepancies under the guidance of senior team members; maintain supporting documentation and audit records.
• Reporting and analysis: prepare recurring postage, reimbursement, revenue and cost reports; analyse financial and operational trends and variances; support dashboard maintenance and data visualisation; compile and validate data for management reporting and business reviews; suggest process and reporting improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, supply chain, data analytics or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, operations analysis, pricing, reporting or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, and ability to work with large datasets and financial information.
• Effective verbal and written communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: experience with pricing, profitability analysis or financial modelling.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookups and data analysis.
