Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist will deliver on‑site technical support to ensure smooth operation of desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment. You will act as the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, providing timely resolutions and maintaining system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications and peripheral devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Assist with LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi and VPN setup, monitoring and basic administration.
• Support remote users and handle tickets through the ticketing system within SLA.
• Perform routine system checks, updates and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and external support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications.
• Basic networking understanding and experience with VPN, LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Familiarity with remote desktop tools, ticketing systems and IT security principles.
