Intermed Billing Associate

About the role

UPS GBS (Global Business Services) is hiring an intermediate Billing Associate in Medellin. The role communicates with customers to solve billing issues while providing excellent customer service, resolving invoice discrepancies, researching billing problems, making adjustments where needed and educating customers about the billing services offered.

Key responsibilities

• Perform billing activities and review billing information
• Prepare operational reports and create and maintain recurring billing orders
• Process adjustments and validate data to ensure accurate billing
• Manage multiple requests and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
• Initiate cross-functional and external contacts to resolve billing problems

Required profile

• B1 (intermediate) English, able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing billing and financial information
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, follow established processes and take ownership of tasks
• Proactive communication, raising questions or concerns in a timely manner

Required skills

• Excel at intermediate level: managing databases and filters, PivotTables, VLOOKUPs and macros
• Ability to handle billing and financial data accurately
