Junior Commercial Counsel

About the role

Numerator is looking for a Junior Commercial Counsel to join its legal team in Colombia. You will support the company’s fast‑growing commercial operations by drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of client‑facing agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate master service agreements, data licensing, subscription contracts, order forms and statements of work.
• Advise regional sales and business‑development teams on deal structure, contract risk and commercial terms.
• Identify, flag and propose solutions for legal risks in commercial transactions.
• Develop and maintain regional contract templates and playbooks to accelerate deal velocity.
• Manage contracts in Salesforce and keep accurate records.
• Collaborate with the global legal team on cross‑border transactions, compliance initiatives and process improvements.
• Support additional legal projects and initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university and admission to practice in Colombia.
• 2‑3 years of commercial/transactional legal experience, preferably in technology, data or SaaS.
• Experience with commercial transactions across LATAM markets.
• Working knowledge of data‑protection and privacy laws in key LATAM jurisdictions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency with Salesforce for contract management.
• Experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
