Lead Full-Stack Developer – TypeScript/React/Next.js

About the role

EPAM is a global digital platform engineering leader seeking a Lead Full‑Stack Developer focused on front‑end technologies (TypeScript, React, Next.js) with proven back‑end capabilities. The role involves building high‑quality software, developing new features, and collaborating closely with the customer’s teams on a high‑profile project.

Key responsibilities

• Actively contribute to AI adoption and integration within the development processes.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable front‑end and back‑end services.
• Participate in feature development, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with the customer to understand requirements and provide updates.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and continuously improve development practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Expertise in front‑end development with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Proven back‑end experience, preferably with Python or Go.
• Understanding of AI capabilities and experience contributing to AI‑related solutions.
• Background in scalable cloud‑based web services and microservices (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with GraphQL and a focus on code quality, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams and customers.
• English level B2 or higher.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AI architecture and generative AI application development.
• Experience in prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python.
