Legal Counsel (Remote) – Colombia

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join its remote team in Colombia. You will safeguard the company’s operations by ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and providing strategic advice across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, amendments, Statements of Work and other legal agreements in English and Spanish.
• Provide legal counsel to business units and senior leadership on corporate governance, labor law, intellectual property, privacy and other regulatory matters.
• Support employment‑law issues, manage claims, and develop internal policies and procedures.
• Monitor legislative changes, ensure compliance with risk‑management policies, and prepare legal trainings and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, vendors and customers on compliance‑related matters.
• Handle multiple legal priorities while maintaining high‑quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
• Participate in domestic and international legal initiatives, including occasional travel.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, especially in commercial agreements and contract negotiation.
• Law degree and active license to practice law in Colombia.
• Ability to advise on corporate and operational legal matters across Latin America.
