Link Building Specialist

About the role

We are a B2B sales and lead‑generation agency looking for an experienced Link Building Specialist to bring our in‑house SEO capacity to the next level. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will replace an outsourced agency and own the end‑to‑end process of acquiring high‑quality backlinks for our two core properties.

Key responsibilities

• Re‑engage and maintain relationships with existing link‑exchange partners.
• Source new warm partners through industry networks and inbound interest.
• Conduct cold outreach, qualify prospects, and manage outreach sequences.
• Pitch, secure, and produce guest‑post content for relevant B2B publications.
• Coordinate three‑way ABC link exchanges, ensuring topical relevance and domain authority.
• Apply a qualification framework to every link opportunity, monitoring domain authority, spam signals, indexation, and anchor flexibility.
• Track placement performance, verify Google indexation at 30‑ and 60‑day intervals, and remove under‑performing links.
• Maintain a centralized log of all placements and submit weekly and monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated B2B link‑building experience, either agency or in‑house.
• Proven track record of securing placements on target sites.
• Familiarity with ABC link‑exchange mechanics and quality criteria.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple partner relationships.
