Localization Producer

About the role

The Localization Producer owns the end‑to‑end workflow for marketing assets, ensuring that localized versions are delivered on time, on spec, and with consistent quality across languages, formats, and variants. This role acts as the bridge between production, versioning, QA, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the localization pipeline from intake to delivery, including language planning, schedules, handoffs, QA gates, and final sign‑off.
• Build and maintain language matrices per campaign, defining priorities, due dates, and format requirements.
• Define and enforce localization standards such as subtitle rules, truncation constraints, typography, safe areas, and layout adaptation guidelines.
• Create production schedules aligned with master asset timelines and coordinate handoffs between editors, motion teams, versioning, and QA.
• Track progress, report risks early, and manage multi‑round review cycles while protecting scope.
• Identify recurring errors, implement process improvements, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• 4+ years producing localized marketing or digital content at scale.
• Strong understanding of subtitle, on‑screen text adaptation, truncation, safe‑area, and version‑control workflows.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, dependencies, and cross‑functional handoffs under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English for stakeholder communication.

Required skills

• ClickUp, Jira, or Asana for project tracking.
• Google Workspace for collaboration.
• Frame.io (or similar review tools) for asset review.
• Spreadsheets for language matrices.
• Basic familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop.
