Manager, Operations Compliance

About the role

The Manager, Operations Compliance leads Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance for LATAM within the AMER region at Equinix. You will oversee audits, risk management, training and continuous improvement across data center sites, ensuring adherence to global policies, local regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment, development and retention of EHS compliance staff in the AMER region.
• Manage internal and external EHS audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant EHS laws, regulations and Equinix standards.
• Investigate non‑compliance, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and tailor local EHS procedures to site‑specific and regional requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to operations teams on EHS best practices.
• Track and report EHS metrics such as incident rates and audit findings.
• Coordinate site‑level compliance audits and act as the single point of contact for the Compliance Center of Excellence.
• Manage audit findings, follow‑up actions and rollout of new certifications.
• Ensure local procedures meet legislative and Equinix requirements and maintain compliance records in global repositories.

Required profile

• Experience leading a team of Operations Compliance professionals.
• Subject matter expertise in EHS compliance and audit processes.
• Ability to collaborate with regional and global EHS, Legal and Operations teams.
• Strong communication skills for reporting findings to management and stakeholders.
