Marketing and Communications Intern

About the role

Sezzle, a fintech company behind interest-free installment plans, is hiring a Marketing Communications Analyst Intern in Bogota, Colombia, with remote work options. The intern plays a key support role in preparing and running marketing campaigns, focusing on email, push, SMS and app channels, and helps build content that personalizes the experience for consumers and merchants. The role sits in a fast-paced marketing team with clear prospects for career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day asset production, including asset and CRM build, quality assurance, approvals, deployment, stakeholder communication and analytics reporting.
• Help optimize future campaigns using performance reports.
• Keep marketing initiatives up to date and assist with communication builds in the CRM platform (Braze).
• Manage compliance and legal approval of assets internally and externally, and flag project risks with mitigation recommendations.
• Maintain project documentation such as meeting notes, schedules, reports and final assets.
• Help client and sales teams set up in-app promotions and report on them.
• Initiate data pulls and manage analytics for various campaigns.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic project management skills.
• Experience writing short, engaging copy.
• Experience using data to segment audiences, run design tests, report and provide insights.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfort using AI to boost productivity, research and communication is required.
• Preferred: database marketing experience, prior Braze experience, and experience with email, push notifications, in-app push, MSS, eCommerce or digital marketing.
