Marketing Assistant – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a creative, QA‑focused Marketing Assistant to design and execute high‑converting campaigns for a tech‑forward entertainment company serving global brands such as Nike, Amazon and Uber. This is a 100% remote, full‑time contractor position reporting to the Marketing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a predictable flow of marketing‑qualified leads by writing original copy for email nurture sequences, lead magnets and ebooks, and managing campaigns in ActiveCampaign.
• Increase organic search visibility through keyword research, on‑page optimization and technical SEO audits using Ahrefs.
• Create on‑brand visual assets in Canva and publish landing pages on Webflow and Squarespace, ensuring zero rework.
• Document repeatable workflows, write SOPs and report funnel analytics across ActiveCampaign, Ahrefs and Google Sheets.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of progressive experience in marketing, content creation or digital copywriting, preferably with U.S.‑based clients.
• Proven ability to generate consistent website traffic and MQLs while maintaining a QA‑first mindset.
• Strong accountability, proactive communication and ability to work independently in an agile environment.

Required skills

• Advanced copywriting and editing in English (no reliance on AI generators for final copy).
• SEO proficiency with Ahrefs (keyword research, content gap analysis, technical audits).
• Email marketing campaign creation and reporting in ActiveCampaign.
• Web publishing in Webflow or Squarespace with basic HTML/CSS.
• Graphic design in Canva for infographics, ebooks and email visuals.
