Offshore Resource Manager – Workforce Optimization

About the role

The Resource Manager will ensure optimal allocation of both on‑shore and off‑shore professionals across Aprio’s tax, advisory and accounting engagements. Working within the Corp Operations and Workforce Optimization teams, you will drive strategic workforce planning, support client service delivery and maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with practice leaders, engagement managers and talent partners to develop and maintain resource plans for current and incoming professionals.
• Identify capacity gaps, timing risks and demand‑supply imbalances in a high‑volume tax environment to prevent staffing disruptions.
• Monitor open job requests, schedule assignments and provide staffing solutions for client engagements and projects.
• Support the offshore delivery model by coordinating pipelines, capacity views and weekly staffing rosters with offshore operations teams.
• Ensure consistent forecasting practices, process improvements and seamless integration of new professionals into firm systems.
• Collaborate with industry, pod and project leaders to align resource allocation with strategic priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in resource planning or workforce optimization, preferably within tax, advisory or accounting services.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with practice leaders, engagement managers and talent partners.
• Ability to navigate complex, uncertain situations and make strategic decisions.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and team‑oriented mindset.
