Pre-Litigation Case Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Pre‑Litigation Case Manager to oversee personal injury cases from intake through settlement. The role demands strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters in a fast‑paced legal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the progress of pre‑litigation personal injury cases, ensuring timely follow‑ups and resolutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
• Obtain and track medical records, bills, and treatment progress, coordinating with providers.
• Handle insurance correspondence, including demand letters and settlement negotiations.
• Draft legal documents such as demand letters, medical chronologies, and case summaries.
• Organize case files, including police reports, witness statements, and medical records.
• Assist attorneys in settlement negotiations and preparation of settlement documents.
• Ensure compliance with legal procedures, court deadlines, and case milestones.
• Generate case status reports and update tracking systems.
• Support attorneys with additional administrative or case‑related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in personal injury pre‑litigation case management or a similar legal role.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law and legal procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Two professional references and a recent criminal background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
