Pre‑Litigation Case Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Pre‑Litigation Case Manager to join a leading personal injury law firm on a remote basis. You will manage cases from intake through settlement, ensuring smooth progression and clear communication with clients, medical providers, and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the progress of pre‑litigation personal injury cases, ensuring timely follow‑ups and resolution.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
• Obtain and track medical records, bills, and treatment progress; coordinate with medical providers.
• Handle correspondence with insurance companies, including demand letters and settlement negotiations.
• Draft legal documents such as demand letters, medical chronologies, and case summaries.
• Organize and maintain case files, including police reports, witness statements, and medical records.
• Assist attorneys in negotiating settlements and preparing settlement documentation.
• Ensure compliance with legal procedures, court deadlines, and case milestones.
• Generate case status reports and update tracking systems.
• Support attorneys with additional administrative or case‑related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in personal injury pre‑litigation case management or a similar legal role.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law and legal procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
