About the role
The Purchasing Support Agent assists the Head Office Buyer and the Data Analyst in daily procurement activities, ensuring smooth supplier onboarding, purchase order processing, and pricing management. This position requires strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective bilingual communication.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new suppliers in JD Edwards, verifying documentation and compliance.
- Maintain and update supplier accounts, including contact details and payment terms.
- Review, confirm, and approve purchase requisitions in JD Edwards.
- Convert requisitions to purchase orders, manage PO lifecycle, and resolve invoicing issues.
- Communicate with suppliers, internal buyers, and stakeholders via email and Teams (English and French).
- Conduct supplier research, risk evaluation, and verification as needed.
- Upload and track price lists in JD Edwards, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Support audits by providing required procurement documentation.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of procurement ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
- Strong organizational and detail‑orientation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work with internal buyers and external suppliers.
