Regional Raw Materials Procurement Coordinator

About the role

Alianza Team is looking for a Regional Raw Materials Procurement Coordinator to ensure the continuous and efficient supply of lipid-based raw materials for its operations in Mexico, Chile and the United States. The role coordinates procurement activities, manages inventory, analyzes prices and monitors supplier performance so that raw materials arrive on time at manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor raw material supply activities, ensuring availability and preventing supply disruptions.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor purchasing activities and coordinate logistics movements.
• Develop quotation scenarios, analyze purchasing prices and volumes, prepare cost projections and compile reports and KPIs.
• Monitor supplier commitments, deliveries, invoicing, payments and compliance with raw material quality requirements.
• Identify process, reporting and workflow improvements through data analysis and technology-driven solutions.
• Work with suppliers and cross-functional teams such as plant operations, logistics, international trade, finance and commercial departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Trade or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in raw material procurement and supply management, including supplier management, inventory monitoring and pricing analysis; experience in food, edible oils, fats or agribusiness is highly valued.
• Advanced, fluent English, written and spoken, to collaborate with teams in the United States.
• Analytical thinking, negotiation skills, effective communication, results orientation, organizational skills, adaptability and business acumen.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of programming, data analytics or automation tools such as Python or SQL is a plus.
