Senior Director, GS Strategy & Operations, Orthopedics

About the role

Johnson & Johnson, through its DePuy Synthes orthopedics business, is seeking a Senior Director to lead Global Services (GS) Strategy & Operations. This senior leadership position will be based in Bogotá, Colombia (or Manila, Philippines) and will shape the future of GS as the company transitions to an independent orthopedics entity.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own, and execute the Global Services strategy across a matrixed, worldwide organization.
• Drive operational excellence by integrating process improvement, automation, AI, and digital capabilities.
• Manage the Global Services operating model, including service delivery performance and operational governance.
• Identify and launch new service opportunities that expand GBS value across the enterprise.
• Partner with business and functional leaders to lead transformation initiatives, improve customer experience, and increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in global business services, strategy, or operations within a large, matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale transformation programs and drive process excellence.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing senior executives.
• Experience navigating complex regulatory and employee‑representation environments during corporate separations.
