Senior Software Engineer – Rust

About the role

Payward Services is building an enterprise infrastructure platform that unifies trading, payments, funding and digital‑asset services. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, implement and scale the core Rust services that power this platform, ensuring reliability and performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance Rust services and libraries for trading, payments and crypto experiences.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code that supports revenue‑critical systems while maintaining safety and security.
• Collaborate on large‑scale distributed system architecture, translating product requirements into low‑latency solutions.
• Debug issues across the full stack (OS, network, application) and take end‑to‑end ownership of services.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building network services or asynchronous code.
• Security‑first mindset with the ability to design robust systems.
• Strong autonomy in diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical culture.
