Senior Video Editor – Paid Social

About the role

DealMaker is seeking a senior video editor to craft high‑impact paid‑social video ads that help founders and companies present investment opportunities to retail investors. You will turn raw interviews, founder footage, AI‑generated b‑roll, stock assets and motion graphics into polished, performance‑driven ads for platforms such as Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex video projects from brief through final delivery, ensuring tight timelines and high quality.
• Edit short‑form, direct‑response video ads optimized for strong retention, clear messaging and investor trust.
• Create multiple ad variations testing different hooks, captions, music and calls‑to‑action.
• Integrate AI‑generated b‑roll, stock footage, motion graphics and performance data into final cuts.
• Continuously experiment with emerging AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and creative output.

Required profile

• Senior creative editor comfortable with fast‑moving environments and incomplete briefs.
• Ability to find compelling stories in messy raw material and make independent, data‑informed decisions.
• Strong understanding of how creative choices affect paid‑social performance metrics.
• Obsessed with AI, actively testing and sharing insights on emerging tools.
• Collaborative communicator who contributes to high creative standards.
