Transportation Operations Senior Analyst – North America

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced analyst to lead North America inbound transportation operations from its Bogotá hub. The role ensures seamless door-to-door logistics, maintains product availability, and supports the company’s commitment to high-quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage door-to-door operational execution for inbound North America transportation lanes, guaranteeing consistent product flow.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, FPX or similar methodologies to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
• Prepare and present performance metrics, project charters and status updates to senior management.
• Coordinate track-and-trace, exception handling and inter-regional shipment monitoring.
• Conduct operational vendor-management meetings, report on vendor performance and maintain day-to-day tactical relationships.
• Act as subject-matter expert for product launches, continuous improvement projects and customer-service initiatives.
• Support sourcing partners during tender processes and resolve service issues.
• Collaborate with distribution centers, manufacturing sites and J&J Deliver Quality to align freight movements with quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an analyst in transportation or supply-chain operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process-improvement projects using Six Sigma or comparable methods.
• Strong analytical skills with experience presenting metrics to various management levels.
• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping sites and supply-planning teams.
• Effective vendor-management and stakeholder communication capabilities.
