About the role

UPS Global Business Services is hiring an intermediate-level Accounts Payable Associate in Medellin. The position handles all aspects of payments to support the Accounts Payable department, following UPS Global Business Services payment processes and acting as a liaison to identify and resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of payments and support the Accounts Payable department.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies by examining, analyzing and correcting payment issues.
  • Ensure payments comply with legal requirements, UPS specifications and government regulations.
  • Act as a liaison to identify and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of privileged information.

Required profile

  • Working knowledge of Oracle and General Ledger.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle payment issues independently and with attention to detail.

The position is permanent.
