Area Human Resources Specialist

About the role

As an Area Human Resources Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will support the HR team in delivering end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes and driving operational excellence across a global logistics network. Your work will help ensure that the right talent is attracted, developed, and retained, enabling smooth supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, employee changes, and off‑boarding activities.
• Support wellbeing initiatives, engagement events, and recognition programs.
• Monitor and analyse HR KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism, and vacation usage.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain and update HR documentation, policies, and process guidelines.
• Administer employee records and generate HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of HR processes.
• Contribute to process improvement and standardisation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, administration, or shared services.
• Proven experience managing employee lifecycle processes and HR reporting.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Advanced English communication skills (optional).
