AT-802 Aircraft Mechanic

About the role

The AT-802 Mechanic position is responsible for maintaining and repairing AT-802 aircraft in compliance with Colombian and international aviation standards. This role is open exclusively to Colombian nationals with extensive hands‑on experience in aircraft maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine maintenance on AT‑802 airframes and powerplants.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and execute corrective actions efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with Colombian Aeronautica Civil, U.S. FAA, and U.S. military maintenance regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Adhere to Colombian safety standards and procedures throughout all tasks.

Required profile

• Technical degree in aviation maintenance from an accredited civilian or military institution.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on aviation maintenance experience.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically on the AT‑802 aircraft.
• Current TMA Colombian license or equivalent U.S. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• English proficiency at FSI Level R/1 and Spanish proficiency at FSI Level R/3/S/3.
