Backend Software Engineer – .NET & Azure

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on building and operating scalable backend services and data‑driven systems using .NET and Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services with C# and .NET.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Develop cloud‑native applications on Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage).
• Work with Snowflake and SQL‑based databases, writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Collaborate with data and platform teams on architecture and integration.
• Participate in system design discussions and on‑call production support.
• Implement observability using Grafana and OpenTelemetry.

Required profile

• Strong experience in C# and .NET backend development.
• Proven track record building and operating backend services and APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake or Azure SQL and strong SQL query‑optimization skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Understanding of scalable system design for data‑intensive applications.
