Bilingual Sales Agent – Retail Energy

About the role

CarbonBetter is seeking a bilingual Sales Agent to join its Retail Energy Division in Medellín. The role focuses on retaining existing customers and cross‑selling clean electricity and natural gas solutions through phone and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Call all daily assigned leads, making up to six contact attempts per customer within a week and accurately log each interaction in the dialer system.
• Communicate the value of CarbonBetter’s clean energy services, retain customers, and actively cross‑sell electricity or natural gas supplies.
• Track retention and cross‑sell results, update reports, and follow up on any pending actions.
• Participate in sales meetings, provide feedback, and collaborate with teammates via Slack.

Required profile

• Fluent English with the ability to hold conversations with native speakers.
• At least one year of experience in telemarketing, call‑center sales, or customer service.
• Strong listening skills, empathy, and the ability to take detailed notes.
• Comfortable working Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm CT, and commuting to the El Poblado office.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using Slack for team communication.
• Ability to operate a sales dialer system and record dispositions.
