Boutique Hotel Operations Coordinator

About the role

Dos Aguas is a small sea-front boutique hotel in Rincón del Mar, Colombia, set in a Caribbean fishing village. It is looking for a person who can be the central point of its daily operation: coordinating the team, connecting the different areas and making sure guests are cared for. The role is hands-on, on site, including weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily work of reception, maintenance, restaurant, bar and guest service.
• Guide and support the team so each area works smoothly.
• Follow the guest experience closely and resolve problems with care and good judgment.
• Organize schedules and oversee sales, cash controls, invoicing, purchases and inventories.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience coordinating hotel operations and leading teams.
• Previous experience living or working in a rural, remote or community-based setting is essential.
• Willingness to relocate to Rincón del Mar and work on site, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent Spanish and English; intermediate French or another language preferred.

Required skills

• Understanding of the practical side of hospitality, from guest service to administrative controls.
• Ability to work autonomously, organize priorities and make sound decisions.
• Comfortable being present in daily operations rather than managing only from a desk.

To apply, send your CV to the employer with a brief note on your experience outside a city, why you want to live and work in Rincón del Mar, and your English, Spanish and French levels.
