CERT Analyst – LATAM

About the role

Group‑IB is seeking a CERT Analyst to support its Latin America (LATAM) operations. The analyst will join the company’s Computer Emergency Response Team, researching and mitigating a wide range of online threats such as phishing, scams, trademark abuse and piracy. The role focuses on protecting client brands and preventing financial and reputational damage.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor web resources continuously and perform analytics to detect phishing, fraud, illegal trademark use and copyright violations.
• Investigate scam schemes, phishing attacks and other digital threats across social media, the Deep Web and Dark Web.
• Coordinate takedown actions with hosting providers, domain registrars and relevant authorities.
• Provide support to clients in combating online brand abuse and prepare incident reports.
• Research emerging scams to improve detection efficiency and enrich the threat‑landscape knowledge base.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and resourcefulness.
• Good understanding of network and Internet protocol operations.
• Ability to work with remote, international teams.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Knowledge of network protocols and Internet infrastructure.
• Experience interacting with hosting centers or domain name registrars (advantageous).
