Client Onboarding Analyst

About the role

Citi is hiring a Client Onboarding Analyst in Bogota, Colombia, within its Institutional Client Onboarding function. This is a developing professional role dealing with most problems independently, with latitude to solve complex ones, and moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer interactions, documentation issuance, review and system setups, and deliver timely, accurate account opening and maintenance.
• Perform day-to-day management of account opening and maintenance processing, including in-process, pended and service-related activities.
• Manage projects in account services and build cross-functional relationships with all teams.
• Determine new work procedures and analyze complex, variable issues with significant departmental impact.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, regulations, policies and guidelines, and maintain a strong risk and controls culture.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and service levels, drive process changes and provide innovative solutions to clients.
• Support new customers and initiatives, and continuously train on end-to-end product knowledge.
• Act as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and other team members, and escalate control issues transparently.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in documentation review, account maintenance and related cash products preferred.
• Ability to work independently with a limited level of direct supervision, and to prioritize in a high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience handling urgent and escalated cases and managing client and team expectations.
