Commercial Director – Media Solutions & Partnerships

About the role

APEX, part of Publicis Media, is seeking a senior commercial leader to head its Media Investment & Partnerships unit in Colombia. The role focuses on driving commercial growth, product adoption and profitability while shaping the operating model for local clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy, sales plans, pricing and go‑to‑market for APEX’s portfolio (APEX On the Move, APEX Shop, APX Guaranteed).
• Lead high‑impact negotiations and close deals with local and multinational clients, as well as sister agencies within the Publicis Groupe.
• Manage strategic relationships with media owners and platforms such as Mercado Libre, Disney, Caracol and RCN, securing preferential agreements.
• Ensure margins, operational efficiency and financial compliance through forecasting, contracts and reporting.
• Drive product roadmap in Colombia, including new verticals like influencer, retail media and CTV solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in media, marketing, advertising, trading desk or partnership businesses in Colombia.
• Proven commercial track record with strong negotiation skills and an extensive network of digital, broadcast and retail partners.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary commercial teams and P&L responsibility.
• Bilingual Spanish/English with excellent executive communication.

Required skills

• Advanced use of CRM systems (Salesforce) and reporting tools.
• Deep knowledge of the Colombian media ecosystem (programmatic, PMP, retail media, CTV/OTV, OOH, radio).
