Community Growth Specialist

About the role

Ria Money Transfer is launching its first dedicated social media presence in Colombia and needs a Community Growth Specialist to lead the effort. You will create and manage Colombia‑specific channels, produce culturally resonant content, engage the community, and grow an active audience from scratch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the content strategy, calendar, and posting cadence on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Produce high‑volume, culturally relevant static, video, carousel, and Reel content using AI‑first tools.
• Define content pillars rooted in Colombian festivals, regional identity, family connections, and diaspora experiences.
• Brief and coordinate freelance creatives for hero content, video production, and photography.
• Manage all community interactions (DMs, comments, mentions) with timely responses.
• Grow and nurture an engaged audience of Colombian remittance receivers, turning followers into brand advocates.
• Monitor sentiment, surface community insights, and feed them to the Growth team.
• Identify cultural moments and real‑time engagement opportunities.
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with Colombian influencers and micro‑creators within budget.
• Track influencer performance and optimize partnerships.
• Measure follower growth, engagement rates, content performance, and channel health using social analytics tools and internal dashboards.
• Produce regular performance reports with actionable insights.

Required profile

• Creative self‑starter with deep fluency in Colombian culture.
• Passion for building communities around brands that connect families across borders.
• Hands‑on experience managing social media channels and community engagement.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate freelance teams.
