Consumer Services Group Trainer (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

Porch Group, a vertical software and insurance platform for homebuyers, is hiring a Consumer Services Group (CSG) Trainer to work remotely in Colombia. The role is employed through RemoFirst, Porch Group's Employer of Record partner in Colombia, while day-to-day work is led by Porch Group. The trainer supports new-hire training during the nesting period, assists the Trainer II with new hire and recurrent training, and helps drive new hire and tenured agent performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Trainer II with planning and facilitating onboarding of new team members and support ongoing training and development
• Manage the nesting phase of new hire training, answering questions as agents take calls for the first 1-2 weeks
• Work with internal contributors on e-learning content and manage remote training programs for CSG teams
• Work with managers and the Quality Assurance team to set rhythms around development and coaching, and attend team meetings to review performance against goals
• Provide ongoing skill development sessions for tenured agents and conduct recurrent and new product/partner training
• Run remote training via Microsoft Teams and report class progress on attendance, behavior, skills and sales
• Support training initiatives for 1-2 teams across CSG as needed and cover phone time when new hire classes are not running

Required profile

• Preferred: bachelor's degree, or equivalent education, training and work experience
• 2+ years leading trainings in a remote learning setting
• 2+ years training, coaching and developing sales or customer service teams
• 2+ years creating educational presentations with PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides or similar
• Flexible schedule to fit business and new hire needs; strong English communication

• E-learning software and learning management systems
• Public speaking and remote facilitation of large groups
• Sales development knowledge and strong written and verbal communication

What we offer

• Salary of COP 4,500,000 to 4,900,000 per month
• Incentive bonus of COP 40,000 to 140,000 per month, variable by performance, plus possible sales incentives
