Data Scientist – Latin America

About the role

Cuesta Partners is seeking a Data Scientist for its Latin America practice. The role involves consulting with a diverse client base, delivering advanced analytics, building predictive models, and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Stay updated with the latest trends in data science and AI.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to extract valuable insights.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for business use cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
• Use statistical analysis to optimize business processes.
• Communicate findings through data visualization and storytelling.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and data‑visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with machine‑learning libraries like TensorFlow, scikit‑learn or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data‑mining techniques.
• Experience working with cloud‑based data platforms and AI projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
