Director, Visa Consulting and Analytics – Core Consulting Practice

About the role

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) seeks a senior leader to drive high‑impact projects across the Andean region, working with issuers, merchants, acquirers, neobanks and fintechs. The role focuses on delivering strategic consulting engagements that promote sustainable, profitable growth for Visa and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with consulting and client leadership to develop and manage a pipeline of analytic work.
• Design frameworks, solutions and recommendations that address critical client opportunities.
• Partner with cross‑functional peers (marketing, sales, risk, product) to maximize Visa’s resources.
• Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance and guide strategic priorities.
• Participate in the sales process, qualify opportunities and develop engagement pitches.
• Lead consulting engagements, manage project teams, synthesize recommendations and deliver client presentations.
• Oversee systems of record for pricing, legal, funding approvals and revenue recognition.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience (or 8+ years with an advanced degree) in payments, consulting or related fields.
• Strong client‑facing background with proven ability to present to senior management.
• Executive presence, excellent written and verbal communication, and leadership in matrixed environments.
• Deep knowledge of payment schemes, card lifecycle management and related processes.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Quantitative background (engineering, economics, computer science, finance or similar).
• Data‑driven problem‑solving and risk management.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
