About the role

The High School English Teacher will join Fundacion Colegio Bilingue De Valledupar in Valledupar, Colombia, delivering English instruction in a bilingual setting. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on creating engaging lessons and supporting student growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver dynamic English lesson plans for secondary students.
• Teach English in a bilingual environment, fostering language proficiency.
• Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to align curricula with school objectives.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Required profile

• Proficiency in lesson planning and English instruction.
• Strong teaching and communication abilities.
• Excellent writing skills for instructional materials and feedback.
• Passion for education and student development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage but not mandatory.
