About the role
This internship supports the Global Business Services (GBS) collections function, handling billing inquiries and improving cash flow for a Fortune Global 500 organization. You will work closely with customers, external agencies, and internal teams to resolve payment issues and maintain accurate account information.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries within SLA.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve complex payment delays.
- Develop, create, and analyze collection and accounts receivable reports.
- Update customer and stakeholder information using various software programs.
- Monitor and maintain assigned customer accounts.
- Submit recommendations for write‑off of account balances.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, preferably in Business or a related field.
- Prior collections experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Basic negotiation skills and ability to handle objections.
- Conversational English proficiency (required).
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
